Event Description

This proposed walk starts at the Praia do Magoito car park, follows trails of great natural beauty and excellent scenery, highlighting the surrounding area between Magoito and Praia do Giribeto, which we'll get to know in detail, as well as passing through the Ribeira da Mata valley. A route that brings together beaches, challenging trails and fantastic views from the Pedro Vento viewpoint and the descent to Praia do Giribeto. Not to be missed!

Giribeto Beach

It is an oceanic beach located on the coast of Portugal by the Atlantic Ocean. Praia do Giribeto Beach, or Praia de Gerebete Beach, has a small sandy beach at the base of an imposing cliff. Flanking the sand is a string of pebbles. The sea is generally rough. Access is via a dirt track and culminates in a path of high difficulty, at the top of the cliff, towards the sand. This beach is usually frequented by fishermen.
