Event Description

For the 1st Walk of the Year, we've chosen the always beautiful and scenic area of Magoito, with spectacular views, from the surrounding hillsides to the trails and rural paths that allow us to get to know the whole region better, not forgetting the footbridges and the mouth of the Ribeira da Mata. Come along with our group to toast the New Year with lots of health, joy and friendship! Another event not to be missed, to start the New Year off right!

Magoito Beach walkways

Blue, earth-coloured and green. An immense sea, a very beautiful beach and a valley covered in vegetation that grows deeper into the Atlantic between two ravines. As we walk along the walkways of Magoito beach, we discover landscapes and environments that, almost all year round, remind us of contemplation and serenity.

The pedestrian access to Magoito beach is located in the thick deposit of consolidated dune to the south of the promontory. This consolidated dune, considered to be a site of great scientific and educational interest in the field of geoscience, is one of the most important natural monuments in the municipality of Sintra.
