This will be Caminhando's Christmas walk, where we invite everyone to dress up as “Father and Mother Christmas” and bring colour and joy to this Saturday morning. After the walk we'll have our traditional Christmas lunch.

This proposed walk will take you through part of Barreiro, highlighting the entire riverside area, as well as its traditional windmills, without forgetting the urban art, green spaces and memories of a very rich past.

City Recreation Park

A central square and riverside path, starting at the Alemão caldera with free recreation and leisure areas. It runs along the River Coina and includes an area where the water level is artificially controlled - Caldeira do Alemão. Panoramic views of the river, Seixal and Serra da Arrábida.

There are three windmills. The largest or Giant, the centre or West and the last, the East.

Note: The cost of lunch will be paid by each participant to the restaurant.
