In this event we'll be walking right in the heart of the Ribatejo, on one of the Lezíria do Tejo's routes, a stone's throw from Almeirim. We'll have the opportunity to walk along part of the Ribeira de Muge, a real undiscovered treasure, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of the countryside, where in addition to the cultivated fields, there are cork oaks and a few patches of maritime pine. Ribeira de Muge:

The Muge Stream, also known as the Mugem River, is a stream that rises in the municipality of Abrantes and runs through the municipalities of Chamusca, Almeirim and Salvaterra de Magos, flowing into the Tagus River. The Ribeira de Muge rises at level 207 near the village of Água Travessa, in the municipality of Abrantes, and flows into the River Tagus upstream of the avieira village of Escaroupim, in the municipality of Salvaterra de Magos. The Ribeira de Muge runs for 68 kilometres and its main tributaries are the Ribeira da Lamarosa, Ribeira da Calha do Grou, Ribeira do Chouto and Ribeira do Rosmaninhal. Among other places, this stream passes through Água Travessa, Estação, Foz, Murta, Marianos, Paço dos Negros, Raposa, Foro de Biscais and Muge.
