Event Description

This proposed walk will allow us to get to know the Malveira area better, more specifically the whole area around Venda do Pinheiro, in a heavily wooded area with wide-ranging views and fantastic trails. Also noteworthy is the Venda do Pinheiro Ecological Park, a pleasant leisure area and the starting point for our walk. Another event not to be missed!

Venda do Pinheiro Ecological Park

Integrated into the urban fabric of Venda do Pinheiro, this new space combines environmental preservation with leisure and mobility. The Ecological and Intermodal Park includes an Interpretive Centre (making the most of its proximity to the source of the River Lizandro), spaces for outdoor activities, sports equipment and spaces for socialising and leisure.

Mount Atalaia

Atalaia (municipality of Mafra) is a 431 metre high hill, located between Venda do Pinheiro and Avessada, topped by a rock formation of volcanic origin.
