Event Description

This proposed walk starts at the S. Miguel de Odrinhas Museum and from there goes along various rural paths and trails of great scenic beauty, passing through oak forests, streams and valleys that will finally take us uphill to the abandoned village of Broas. A village very close to Lisbon, typically Saloia, which has been abandoned and forgotten by everyone. Throughout our walk we'll be able to see enchanting landscapes, such as the banks of the Cabrela stream, and in the distance some windmills, which in the past fuelled the region's fame.
