This walk starts next to the Clube Naval de Sesimbra building, with magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding area, the beaches of Sesimbra and the Serra da Arrábida. It goes along paths and trails with great scenery as we approach the paradisiacal setting of Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach, where the most fearless can take the Last Dive of the Year! Afterwards, we head to the magnificent Cova da Mijona Beach, before the demanding climb back up. Not to be missed!

Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach:

Its exceptional geographical location gives it a uniqueness all of its own, which is reflected in the beauty and immensity of the landscape. Just before you reach Sesimbra, a rock formation in the shape of a horse's head identifies one of the region's most beautiful beaches - Ribeiro do Cavalo. This paradise can be reached by boat or via a path in the hills, which, in addition to some physical preparation, requires a good knowledge of the area. The effort of the walk is rewarded once you reach the sand.

Cova da Mijona Beach:

Praia da Mijona Beach has a long stretch of sand. There are pebbles here. The beach is located in a wide cove, protected to the west by a protruding cliff edge. Next to it is a house that is totally isolated from the world. To the east, close to the coast, a group of rocks rise up. Access is via a path in the cliff ravine on the western slope.
