Event Description

This walk organised by Caminhando will take a circular route from and to Vila de Rei, very close to Bucelas, the capital of Arinto. The route takes in the Contradinha waterfalls in Santiago dos Velhos and the Boição waterfall, both located in the Ribeira do Boição valley. Another event not to be missed!

Boição Stream and Waterfalls

Both of the waterfalls we'll visit are fed by the waters of the Ribeira do Boção, a tributary of the left bank of the River Trancão, which it joins in Bucelas, and have a stupendous natural setting, something incredible when you consider that they are located less than 30 minutes from Lisbon.
