This walk starts next to the Azóia football pitch, in the heart of the Serra da Arrábida Natural Park. We'll set off in the company of magnificent views of this part of the coast, with the sea on the horizon. We'll walk through the Cramesines Valley and some of its most beautiful limpets, on a demanding route. Another event not to be missed!

Imagine a dreamy view over a calm, bright sea, a climate of flowery winters and a diet of fresh fish and seafood. From the description, this could be the suggestion for another weekend in the town of Sesimbra, where the strange softness of the Atlantic serves as the main tourist attraction. However, these were also the conditions that attracted the first inhabitants of the Arrábida coast who, sheltered by the mountains, thrived in its food-filled bays.

Cramesines Valley:

Nestled between two limestone ridges, the Cramesines valley slopes down from the village of Azóia to Cova da Mijona and bears witness to one of the best examples of how geography and human settlement come together. In an interesting complex of small caves that flank the path, visitors can experience how people lived in prehistoric times and share a landscape that has remained practically intact ever since. Dare to explore them and enjoy a balcony facing a bay bordered by cliffs and small deserted beaches, where the colours are more reminiscent of the Mediterranean than the Atlantic.
