Event Description

This event proposal consists of a boat trip between Porto de Abrigo in Sesimbra and Praia da Baleeira, very close to Cape Espichel, where we will disembark onto land and from there start our return to Sesimbra, always with the coastline in our sight, allowing us to get to know all the beauty of these magnificent landscapes.

On our 11-kilometre walk, we'll have the opportunity to see unique panoramic views of some of the most emblematic beaches, only accessible by difficult-to-access paths and trails or by sea.

Some of the beaches featured on our itinerary are: Porto da Baleeira Beach, Inferno or Penedo Beach, Cova da Mijona Beach and Ribeiro do Cavalo Beach. Towards the end we'll take a short diversions to visit Lapa do Cavalo.

See for yourself and photograph some of the most beautiful wild beaches in the region.

The transfer to Baleeira will be by semi-rigid boat along the Sesimbra coastline to Porto da Baleeira, in the Professor Luiz Saldanha Marine Reserve area. Marvel at the crystal-clear waters teeming with life, the wild beaches, caves and cliffs that embellish the coastline and tell the story of Sesimbra's fishermen from the earliest times. A journey into the soul of the region!
