Event Description
Photography has become increasingly accessible to everyone. Our aim with this walk is twofold. To see the sunset from one of the most privileged points in the Serra de Sintra and at the same time to enjoy and photograph the landscape as well as the existing monuments. With photographer António Rendeiro you will have the support and help you need in this area of landscape photography and monument photography.
We start our route in Malveira da Serra, entering the mountains on a gentle climb. We'll walk along a route that passes through small woods and areas with little vegetation that offer incredible views over Guincho and Cascais. When we reach Peninha, we'll be able to see a spectacular landscape that will allow us to take plenty of photographs.
We'll take the opportunity to photograph the Templo da Peninha as well as the Ermida de São Saturnino while we watch and photograph the sunset. On the way back, we'll take advantage of a few points that will allow us to take in new views of the night landscape until we once again enter the boundaries of the houses of Malveira da Serra and finally the place where this walk ends.
Another event not to be missed!
