Event Description

This proposed walk starts at Azenhas do Mar Beach, in the car park next to the bus stop, and follows trails of great natural beauty with excellent scenery and several rural paths. During this walk we will pass several beaches in the municipality of Sintra, from Azenhas do Mar to Praia da Samarra, covering a distance of 26 kilometres. Also noteworthy for its beauty is the valley of the Rio da Mata, which flows right into Praia do Magoito and its walkways. Our walk will also pass Praia da Aguda and Praia da Samarra on a unique route that brings together the beach and the countryside. Another event not to be missed, a challenging walk for all walkers!
